How to detect rel=nofollow using firefox

Rel=nofollow is a link attribute typically used by webmasters to signify that they do not want search engines to follow and credit a link as related or relative to a specific page or site. If your using the firefox browser, it is simple to detect which links are using the rel=nofollow attribute on any given page by installing the popular SeoQuake addon. How to automatically detect rel=nofollow in firefox:

  1. Download and activate the SEOQuake addon
  2. Once the addon is installed, you should see a new icon at the bottom right hand corner of your firefox browser. SEOQuake Icon
  3. Right click the icon and click the Line-through "nofollow" and "noindex" option to enable it.
