Enable Quick Launch Windows 7

Enabling Quick Launch in Windows 7: In the following simple solution, I'll show you how I quickly enabled quick launch in Windows 7. By default Microsoft's Windows 7 doesn't include the quick launch toolbar option, however, some people may wish to continue to use the quick launch toolbar feature that was previously available in Windows XP, Vista, etc.

One way to Enable Quick Launch Toolbar in Windows 7:

  1. Right Click your Taskbar and then Click New toolbar Right Click, Select New Toolbar
  2. From the New Toolbar window do the following:
    (1) In the folder selection field, type %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch>
    (2) Click the Go to Arrow
    (3) Click the Select Folder Button
Create a Quick Launch Win7 Toolbar Shortcut
  3. Right Click the Quick Launch section from your Taskbar and then Uncheck Show Text and Show titleUncheck Show Text and Show Title

You should now have Windows 7 Quick Launch Shortcuts in your Taskbar:
